Definition

Aircraft Plywood is made of ultra thin birch veneers in accordance with Germanischer Lloyd (GL) standards.
Due to its excellent quality features this material has variety of applications. Aircraft plywood is described by lightness, flexibility and extreme strength which all make it easy to work with. This plywood can be stained, painted and finished like wood. The veneer face plies and inner plies do not have any open defects.

Field of application

As the name indicates aircraft plywood is used in the manufacture of aircraft but also boats, furniture, model airplanes, model boats, doll houses, boomerangs and other toys, musical instruments, fine packaging (e.g. cigar cases) including food packaging (e.g. chocolate boxes).

Since it can be painted, stained and finished like wood it is used also for art, hobbies, drawing, school projects, drafting and other purposes.
